Hoffplanet started as a raw video series in 2010, stemming from way back in 2002 — filming a close group of friends on BMX bikes and skateboards while living freely, building ramps, pushing limits, and documenting the adventure. It has more recently evolved into a much bigger mission, exactly as the name Hoffplanet had always entailed: transforming a Nebraska acreage into a self-sufficient community built around extreme fitness, sustainable living, advanced technology, Tesla Optimus humanoid robots, automation systems, solar power, and content creation while also building momentum for a future no one will believe.

The long-term goal is to assemble and prepare a close-knit team to travel aboard a SpaceX Starship for a two-year minimum stay on Mars, Planet #2 — helping build infrastructure, grow food, conduct research, explore, and witness the emergence of humanity’s first multi-planetary city, while documenting the entire journey on video so the world can experience it through our eyes. Whether joining us there physically or watching from Earth, everyone is invited to be right there with us.
