Welcome to Hoffplanet. By using hoffplanet.com and related Hoffplanet pages, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The site is operated by Derrick Hoffart (“Hoffplanet,” “we,” “us”) in Nebraska, United States.

1. What Hoffplanet is
Hoffplanet is a personal media and project site covering video history, walking and physical challenges, Nebraska acreage life, merch, gaming, and a long-term Mars / multi-planetary vision. Content is for entertainment and informational purposes.

2. Your use of the site
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to attempt to break, scrape abusively, or overload the site; post or submit harmful, illegal, or harassing content through any form; misrepresent who you are when contacting us; or interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the site. We may refuse access or remove content at our discretion.

3. Intellectual property
Unless noted otherwise, text, images, logos, video concepts, and designs on hoffplanet.com are owned by Hoffplanet / Derrick Hoffart or used with permission. You may not copy, sell, or republish substantial parts of the site without permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing and ordinary social sharing of links.

4. Merch and the Shopify store
Physical products and apparel are sold through our Shopify store at hoffplanet.myshopify.com. Purchases, shipping, returns, and payment processing are handled under Shopify’s terms and the policies shown at checkout. Completing an order means you are buying from the Shopify storefront.

5. Partner links and referrals
Some pages include partner or referral links (for example Tesla, Starlink, Meta Quest, Pokémon GO, Crani-Yum, or similar). We may receive a benefit if you use those links or codes. Partner programs have their own terms. Hoffplanet does not control third-party products or pricing.

6. Records, claims, and future goals
Walking totals, shoe distances, Guinness-related attempts, “firsts,” and similar statements on this site are Hoffplanet’s reported results or goals unless an independent organization is clearly named as the verifier. “Attempt,” “goal,” and “coming soon” language means the item is not a guaranteed or completed official title. Mars, Starship, acreage infrastructure, and team plans describe a long-term vision. They are not offers of employment, travel contracts, or investment opportunities.

7. Arcade, contests, and prizes
When a contest is live, official rules will be posted on the site (entry fees if any, scoring window, payout method such as Cash App or PayPal, eligibility, and reset schedule). Until those rules are published and a contest is marked live, any arcade or prize language is forthcoming and not a binding offer. You must be eligible under the posted rules and under applicable law to enter. We may disqualify fraud, cheating, or multiple accounts.

8. Videos and third-party platforms
Videos and streams may be hosted on YouTube, Twitch, Snapchat, or other platforms. Those platforms’ terms apply when you watch or interact there.

9. Disclaimer
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, HOFFPLANET IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, LINKS, MERCH PURCHASES HANDLED BY THIRD PARTIES, OR RELIANCE ON RECORD OR VISION STATEMENTS.

10. Indemnity
You agree to hold Hoffplanet and Derrick Hoffart harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
